DETAILS
On May 01, 1968, Company C remained OPCON to the 2/34th Armor. One Bobcat from Company C died from wounds he received during an enemy mortar attack. Two platoons from Company A, one platoon from Company A, 2/34th Armor and one company of Regional Force Soldiers conducted a sweep operation. One platoon from Company A secured the battalion’s forward base area located at XS 733945. Company B established checkpoints in the area of Binh Hung Hoa and Xom Go May. Night ambushes were deployed throughout the area.
