On July 28, 1969, Company B took part in a one day RIF operation north of Trung Lap. At 1455 hours, Company B started to receive small arms fire at XT 575230. At 1543 hours, the company requested a Dust-off for two wounded Bobcats. One died of his wounds at hospital.
