I thought you might be interested in this newspaper clip about my grandfather George L. Potter (sr).   I had been looking for information on the 5th infantry regiment when I found your web site. 

24 years after this newspaper clip, my father George L. Potter (Jr) joined Easy Co. of the 506th during WWII.
